About Us
1965
Richard "Tack" Ness purchased 1/2 ownership of a local gas station named Thistle and Brown after working there for many years.
1973
After purchasing the other half of the company name Thistle and Brown, "Tack's" brothers Charlie and Don joined him in business in 1973, which became the company Park Corner Oil Company Inc.
1980
The three brothers saw the business growing. So, they decided to purchase a second auto repair location to expand their business.
1983
In 1983 a new addition to the company was added. They began selling used cars and trucks.
1986
With business booming they decided they were ready to take on a new facility. They built our current location at 910 N Main st in Lodi. It brought a modern 19,000 sq ft facility to the business with plenty of room to grow.
1992
Tack's son Craig joined the business in 1992. He worked mainly as a technician and filled in for Service/Parts Advisors as needed over the next 8 years. He then would go on to learn the Sales department role as well.
2009
After working in the family business all his life, Craig went on to purchase 1/3 of the business in 2009 and the remainder of the business in 2015. Tack and Charlie still come in everyday.
